Position Overview
Are you curious about how Human Factors shape the future of healthcare?
We’re looking for a Human Factors Co-Op to join our growing team on a 12 month internship starting in May 2026, supporting the delivery of world-class usability work across a diverse range of medical device development projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience in Human Factors research, usability testing, and data analysis, while contributing to the development of safe, effective, and user-centered products.

Principal Responsibilities
As a Human Factors Intern, you’ll support the team in delivering high-quality work while developing your own skills and understanding of the field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the planning and execution of usability and Human Factors activities
- Supporting the identification of user needs and integration of usability into product development
- Participating in data analysis to propose practical design solutions that enhance usability and reduce risk
- Collaborating with external suppliers to support Human Factors studies
- Contributing to the preparation of clear and concise reports and presentations
- Participating in the development of usability strategies aligned with client goals
- Communicating ideas effectively to colleagues and clients with varying technical backgrounds
- Actively learning about relevant regulations, processes, and best practices
- Building positive relationships within client accounts
- Supporting Crux’s continual development by sharing ideas for improvement
- Demonstrating warm professionalism and a collaborative spirit in all interactions
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Working towards a human factors related subject (Product Design, Engineering, Psychology)
